Description Specifically developed to recreate the unique performance characteristics of a marching band, the 14” AHSHP “S-Hoop Marching Pad” mimics the tension of a tightly tuned head on a marching drum for realistic practice. Its full-size head features a hard carbon fiber surface and a metal plate on the bottom, giving it a light snare sound effect when stricken. The S-Hoop counterhoop allows for real rimshots and cross-sticks. The padded bottom allows for the pad to be placed on top of a standard 14” drum during indoor or outdoor drills.
