Ronny Kobo Women's 1988 Blazer(Grey)
$ 90.38
An intimate, one-of-a-kind Shabbat candlestick set that brings together ritual, symbolism and sculptural form in a smaller, collectible scale. Hand carved from dark stoneware using the kurinuki technique, the set features two candleholders emerging from a shared base with a curved, rugged edge. Adorning the base are twelve, individually sculpted porcelain crystals, symbolizing the twelve tribes of Israel – a detail that infuses this piece with spiritual depth. The body of the candleholders are left unglazed, washed in black underglaze to heighten the contrast with the vibrant teal glaze of the base and the luminous crystals. Each crystal is finished with 24k gold lustre at its base and a soft mother of pearl coating, applied before the third and final lustre firing. While compact in size, this set carries conceptual weight – a contemplative addition to weekly Shabbat ritual or a striking Judaica gift for weddings, conversions, or collectors of functional art. Can also be displayed as a symbolic sculptural artwork during the week. Shown in photos with 17cm tall, Shabbat candles. To clean off wax, I recommend pouring boiling water over the wax and then hand washing gently in soapy water.
