Wood chopper, mill wheel and dancing figures move, when the music plays, on the hour and half hour.Cuckoo bird comes out on the half hour and hour to “”cuckoo”” the hour count. Music plays afterward on each hour and half hour. Music is played from a quality, Swiss-made, 22-note, 2-tune, mechanical music box movement (click the link below, to listen). This music box usually comes with the very popular, Edelweiss/Happy Wanderer song combination (playing one melody on the hour and the other on the half hour).
