Description Manufactured by Anton Schneider, this authentic, 30-hour cuckoo clock was hand-crafted and hand-carved in the Black Forest region of Germany. The cuckoo bird calls out, to count the hour; and calls out once on the half hour. Chalet, black forest house set in a forest scenery. The deer (on the right) moves and jumps, as the cuckoo calls. There is also a stationary browsing deer and squirrel. Clock has a wooden dial, wooden hands, and a wooden cuckoo bird. There is a silencing lever on the left side of the clock, to silence the clock at night. The weights have to be pulled up daily (or every 30 hours).Cuckoo clock house measures 8.5 H x 8.5 W x 5.5 D Inches.
