Product Information EPDM Sponge Boot Seal – 16mm x 13.5mm This EPDM sponge boot seal – 16mm x 13.5mm is a high-quality, aftermarket reproduction of Jaguar seal BD4875. It is suitable for use as a boot seal on Jaguar XK-type classic vehicles, as well as for other applications. This seal also features an inner channel with a depth of 9mm and a width of 3mm, which enables you to use this seal in a wider range of applications other than a boot seal. Durable and Easy to Install This product has been designed, specifically, to be able to withstand a variety of impacts, while still maintaining its original shape. This ensures that you are able to get a lot of use out of the product without fear of warping or deterioration. This seal is manufactured from high-quality EPDM rubber, due to the unique properties the material offers. EPDM offers outstanding resistance to heat, ozone, and weathering, while also offering good resistance to both polar substances and steam. EPDM also has excellent electrical insulating properties, and is able to withstand a range of chemicals from ketones and ordinary diluted acids, to alkalis. Lastly, EPDM provides an airtight and watertight seal. This product can be cut using standard household tools to meet any size you require, and attached using one of our superglues.
